The earth is what we all have in common
Wendell Berry
Rooted in rural Herefordshire, The Hedge is a not-for-profit, biannual publication. It is a place for diversity of ideas and communication between different fields. It is a corridor of information.
The Hedge exists to foster cooperation and regeneration in response to the ecological crisis. We’re interested in exploring and sharing ideas from every conceivable dimension, encouraging change and the rebuilding of the sacred relationship between humans and nature.
Rather than presenting ‘solutions’ to a ‘problem’, we explore ways in which we can face our predicament with courage, creativity, resilience and an appreciation of the values of degrowth and voluntary simplicity.
